Requirements BASIC

  • Once-only free registration and activation of your company in the web portal.

  • The vehicle should be equipped with either a digital or analog tachograph.

  • This device should be properly installed by an authorized service station.

  • Devices for reading out the driver and vehicle data from the digital tachograph (card reader and Downloadkey or OPTAC-device).

  • If you still use vehicles equipped with an analog tachograph, you will need the tachodisc scanner, as well as discs that are compatible with this scanner. You also need to have Java installed. Please visit: http://www.java.com/en/download/

  • PC with internet connection (e.g. DSL, ISDN, analog)
    Microsoft XP, Vista
    Windows 7

  • Web browser for set up and use of the application =  Internet Explorer 8 or Mozilla Firefox 3

  • Windows administrator rights for this PC and rights to edit and change the security settings in your company network.

  • Installation of Java minimal version 6 update 12; for security reasons the latest version is recommended, see therefore: http://www.java.com/en/download/. This component allows the communication between the hardware and the online portal and is a requirement for uploading driver and vehicle data with the hardware (card reader, Downloadkey, OPTAC-device or Remote Download). To be able to install Java you need administrator rights for your PC. In case of problems contact your system administrator. The usage of USB-devices must also be allowed.
