Adding fleet/user (Administrator role)
This step is necessary to be able to upload vehicle data or let tachograph discs be scanned in by a service manager.
- Under 'Management/Fleet' a standard fleet is created, named 'fleet01'. By clicking the name you can edit it. Under 'Add fleet' you can create a new fleet.
- Under 'Management/Users' you will find the option 'Add user'. Here you can add new users with the corresponding credentials and rights. If no rights are allocated the user cannot log in. With the second option 'Add a driver as user' you allow a registerd driver to log in in the portal, to upload his driver card and to consult his own data.
- The particulars for 'User credentials' are for the subsequent login of the user. As for fleet manager the respective fleets that the fleet manager should manage can be clicked under 'Managed fleets'. This choice has an influence on where the vehicle data is allocated. The right 'service manager' enables an user only to read in and process tachograph discs.
- Selecting 'Save' you confirm the addition of a new user.
- Give to the new user (administrator, fleet manager, service manager) the login information (client number, user name, password). This user then continues from the appropriate section of this user guide. If required the password can be changed (see Change password). In case the user is responsible for more than one fleet the user must at login select the fleet where the vehicle data is to be uploaded.

Tips and Tricks
-
Usage of multiple user rights versions.
-
One should allocate only one kind of right, that means either Administrator or Fleet Manager or Service Manager. In other cases it can result in display errors. This is a known bug and will be solved in a future release.
