Checklist Remote Download

To set up your account, please complete the following steps:

• Register and activate your account.
  
  
• Select fleet and user, and add their rights. This step is necessary to be able to upload data from a vehicle by the fleet manager. This step can only be performed by the administrator.
  
  
• Make a one time upload of the vehicle file, per vehicle, to the online portal by means of the necessary hardware (Downloadkey or OPTAC-device). This vehicle's master data is automatically installed into the program.
  Do not use the option 'Add vehicle manually'. This is for vehicles that do not have digital tachograph. In case you have problems installing the required Java components, contact your system administrator to install and activate this software. Also, the usage of USB devices should be allowed.
  
  
• Make a one time upload of the driver file, per driver, to the online portal by means of the necessary hardware (Downloadkey or OPTAC-device). This driver's master data is automatically installed into the program.
  
  
• Running the Remote Download components from the homepage of the online portal must be allowed. Contact your system administrator if this causes any problems.
  
  
• Changing the desired remote download interval for your driver and vehicle data, can only be done by the administrator of the online portal under 'Management - Company'. An interval of two weeks is set as default.
