Registering Driver with driver card (Fleet Manager or Administrator role)

This step is only necessary for the upload of driver cards via the card reader. Upload of data (i.e. via OPTAC or Downloadkey) works without the prior registration of the driver via the driver card.

Connect the card reader via USB to the PC!
Register the driver at "Management/Driver", select "Add driver", confirm the security dialog and the installation in the browser, plug in the driver card with the chip side to the side where the card reader has a lamp!
Enter the required data! At "Periods receiving digital data" please enter the start date and if necessary the end date of the period for when the driver is or will be employed by your company. Press the button "Add driver"! The required mandatory fields are marked *. Furthermore you can allocate the driver to a fleet.
Selecting "Submit" you confirm the addition of new driver. The data can now be uploaded by i.e. the Fleet Manager or the driver.
The added drivers can be displayed and changed under "Management/Driver" after entry and confirmation of search criteria. Also a change of periods for when the driver is or will be employed by your company can be done here. If "Disable schedule notification" should be activated you can choose this option here.
